Nicolle hill

Nicolle is a UW-Milwaukee Graduate student pursuing a Masters of Social Work. She brings 14 years of professional experience, including running her own Doula business and serving as a Director at a local nonprofit. To her work, she shows a deep dedication by addressing service gaps and elevating client voice through trauma informed practices.

Working alongside children and their families, she has built strong connections throughout the Dane County area and is looking to advance her skills by obtaining her Clinical license. Nicolle hopes to provide nature, art and horses as coping techniques to those who traditionally have barriers to access.

M Sweetnam

M (they/he/she) is a Master’s student at UW-Madison pursuing a degree in Counseling Psychology. M brings 12+ years of experience in LGBTQ+ community support services, and multiple years of direct mental health crisis response work to their practice. They currently work as a Crisis Stabilizer in the Dane County area, and previously worked as a youth arts educator. M has been a member of Trans CARE Collaborative for the last 9+ years, participating in transgender health equity centered psychology research. They are enthusiastic about supporting play, creative exploration, movement, and connection to nature in life and the therapeutic process.

M is passionate about destigmatizing mental illness and forging greater access to culturally humble healthcare. They believe their role as a counselor is to assist clients in clarifying their needs and building a sense of empowerment and self-efficacy as much as possible in their lives. M is influenced by feminist theories praxis and a trauma informed approach, and aims to center authenticity, accountability, and collaborative mutual alliance against systems of oppression with clients in therapeutic work together.
