Trauma-informed trainings

Jessica Dallman has teamed with Elizabeth Seeliger AuD (Global Impact Audiology) and Leigh Hardin LPC LAC (parent of a deaf son and hearing daughter) to deliver an interdisciplinary, multi-perspective series of trainings and workshops about how trauma, oppression, self-care, and systems impact the development and well-being of children and families receiving Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) services.

As a trio, we regularly present at the national EHDI conference and have traveled to multiple states (i.e. Utah, Virginia, North Dakota, Illinois, etc.) to support trauma comprehension, sensitivity, and responsivity in staff. Topics include Trauma-Informed Care, Holding Space, Self-Care, and more!

For more information about how to book us for a specialized training for your staff, contact Jess.

I liked how they include fidgets on the tables. The presenters are really accessible.

I am so glad I came and so glad this content was a full day. (Although it could easily go on to a 2nd day!) I have real strategies I can apply with my families next week!
